It had the right balance of traditional and unorthodox. All our friends were so totally blown away with the

Sorry its taken us a while to send this, we have had a busy week organising our second wedding for which we had sun !!!
We wanted to thank you both for such a wonderful day. All of the hard work you put in in the months leading up to
our wedding gave us such a perfect wedding. Although the weather was not great, it didn't effect how much we and our
guests enjoyed it. Sheltering under the rocks drinking our champagne at the ceremony along with Spiros nearly ending
up in the harbour when he tripped up the steps, all added to our happy memories.
The food at the Taverna was
delicious and gave us all the opportunity to try something new not forgetting the wine of course!! The cake not
only looked wonderful, it tasted great as well! Not forgetting the tables, you went to the trouble of matching our
colours perfectly with the lovely decorations. Ending our night by running to the coach with cardigans over our head
due to the torrential rain was again something we will never forget!
All in all we had a truly magical wedding day, one that we will never forget. Thank you both for making this possible.

Dear Elizabeth and Rose,
I know it is nearly a year ago that Rik and I got married in Rethymnon (28th May 2010) and we promised that we would fill in the questionnaire and send it back to you. However, when we got home life just seemed to go at 100 mph and before you know it, it's March 2011.
Anyway, I just wanted you both to know that we had the best wedding day we could have asked for and we always talk about it and how magical it was. We wouldn't have been able to arrange any of it by ourselves so thank you for everything you did. I didn't have any stress and I know Rik didn't as he was enjoying the sunshine and swimming pool at the villa on the day of the wedding!
The Chapel was lovely and the Deputy Major, who performed our ceremony in Greek and English, made the words even more meaningful. My flowers were beautiful and the food at restaurant was brilliant and never-ending! We went back the restaurant on our last day in Crete and the staff were really welcoming. In fact, we missed our bus to the Airport because we were enjoying looking out over the harbour and drinking wine!
The only thing I had any concerns over was what the wedding cupcakes would be like but they were exactly as the pictures I had sent!
It was a beautiful experience which we were able to share with family and friends and we can't wait to renew our vows in the future.

Elizabeth and Rose,
thank you for planning our special day. Rethymnon was the perfect setting for us, both Gareth and I loved the
old streets, harbour and beautiful lane ways and it was also appreciated by our guests.
Rethymnon has something for everybody and so perfect when you have a mixed groups of nationalities, tastes
and interests as we did. Our wedding ceremony was perfect in every way and the chapel far exceeded our expectations.
Rethymnon town is perfect for those memorial wedding pictures, ours were outstanding and the Casa Vitae hotel
where we stayed ion our honeymoon nights gave us another perfect setting for pictures.
The taverna was wonderful and catered for all our needs especially with the endless amounts of food and the
Cretan dancers followed by DJ made for a great reception. All in all it was an exceptional day and a wonderful
two weeks and the joy of marrying abroad is you get to spend valuable time leading up to the wedding and afterwards
with your family and friends and your wedding lasts longer than one day.

Everyone thinks their own wedding day is perfect but ours truly was a magical experience from start to finish,
the weather the setting, smell,ambiance,food,entertainment all were truly spectacular.
My flowers were gorgeous and matched my dress completely, the music on loud speakers for us to walk up our
aisle was breathtaking (I had been worried that it would sound tinny and un professional being outside!)
Valentinos and Andonis the owners of To Kyma did us proud providing as much free wine all night as we all could
drink! We even got our picture in a magazine in Chania which is a free publication in all tavernas/coffee houses!!
They were typically Greek with their hospitality buying us a beautiful flower arrangement which had pride of place
on the top table. The party did not end till 6am then the Bride and groom and younger wedding party went home
leaving the older bridesmaids having breakfast and helping To Kyma clear up!!
The Greek dancing and the band were fantastic and everyone enjoyed the dancing!
The DJ was good.
Photographer was brilliant and he truly captured the wedding !
In all a truly fairytale wedding a memory that John and I and Im sure all our guests will treasure for ever!
What can I say about Weddings in Crete? You were both perfect and made our day so so special, thank
you is in adequate, but rest assured I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.

When we think back to the planning process for our big day, we think of all the worry and stress that we were
having about the organising of such a big event in our lives, and how it was solved by a team of genuinely nice
and professional people at weddings in crete.
From day one, everything was explained to us in detail, from the cost of booking the services of Elizabeth,
Rose et al ... to the approximate cost per head for the meal, and all the extras we would like also.
When we emailed with a query (even a silly one!!), it was answered promptly and courteously by either Elizabeth

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to both of you again for making our day so special and so relaxing.
We had such a wonderful wedding - it was so natural and relaxed and it felt so intimate and personal.
My Mum felt it was a fairytale wedding as it was so personal. Having you both organise and plan our wedding
took away most of the stress and hassle and you were invaluable in guiding us along the way; you are both such

fantastic photographer - he took some excellent photos - a real good mix of formal shots and candid shots!
The sunset ones are just unbelievably good - everyone keeps commenting on how fantastic they are! The cake
was delicious and I was gutted I could not eat more! It looked perfect and thank you for setting up our
table with my bits and pieces! By the way we managed to bring home the 2 candles with us!! Dave packed
one in his case and I stuffed the other in my Dad’s luggage! So now I have 2 fantastic big candles!! The
decoration was perfect and even better than I expected! The orchids were beautiful. Thank you so much for
tying my ribbon and diamante buckle around my lovely bouquet! I managed to save one rose from it and I was
gutted I could not bring it home with me!

A Summer Wedding
Not every couple takes 40 friends and family on honeymoon with them but that’s what we did. In the summer of 2004, we flew to Crete to get married - and they all came along.We were married in unconventional style, in a breathtaking setting next to an abandoned fort on top of a hill with the beautiful bay of Souda on one side and the White Mountains on the other. Elizabeth et al organised all aspects of the wedding flawlessly - from the flights and accommodation in traditional Cretan farmhouses, to the legal arrangements of the ceremony, to the riotous reception at a local Taverna. And they coped admirably with the few foibles of the more demanding members of our retinue - nothing was too much trouble.
Our guests told us that the wedding was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Of course they probably always say that but we suspect that there was more than a hint of truth on this occasion.
We wanted a different wedding to the usual UK formula - the car, the photographs, the hotel reception where three other receptions are happening simultaneously, the rain ... In fact, we may have been the first people in history to be married on our hilltop location. The only similarity was the price - we spent the same on a wedding and two weeks holiday in Crete for 40 people as we would have blown on a single day in the UK.
Our experience in Crete was magical from start to finish and we can whole-heartedly recommend Elizabeth and her team to arrange any wedding in Crete. And yes, we did get our honeymoon; we sneaked off to a charming hotel 10 miles away in Chania for a couple of days - again recommended and booked by ... you know who.
